An Update From Australia Post

To protect frontline workers, Australia Post has made the decision to remove signature on delivery, effective immediately.

At the current time, Australia Post drivers and posties are also changing the way they deliver parcels, standing further back from front doors of homes and asking residents if they've been in contact with anybody confirmed to have the COVID-19 virus, or are in self-isolation.

 You will receive an Australia Post Tracking number once your order is dispatched. You can track the journey of your order via 

the Track and Trace website http://auspost.com.au/track/ by entering your tracking number.

Shipping Policy

Delivery standards

Australia Vitamin Direct uses AusPost and FastWay for our deliveries. All parcels will be delivered to the provided address. It is recommended to provide a work address for delivery if no one is home during business hours. Due to security issues, the parcel cannot be left unattended. Where no one is home to receive the parcel, a card will be left detailing the nearest Australia Post outlet or collection centre where the parcel can be collected during normal business hours.

Orders will be packaged in plain boxes or satchels and unmarked for privacy and security. They will be dispatched as soon as payment and prescriptions have been processed. Allow normal postage times for delivery.

Australia Vitamin Direct will dispatch most orders within 3-5 business day Monday to Friday assuming all items are in stock. All other orders will be dispatched as quickly as possible thereafter. It may be necessary for some orders to be shipped in more than one box from different distribution centres and therefore you may obtain these parcels at different times. You will be notified via email if there are any delays in obtaining any items on your order. Please contact us if you would like an alternative product or other arrangement. Order processing and delivery times may vary in peak times such as Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day and some catalogue promotions. Contact us for more information.

Free shipping within Australia

Free shipping on orders above $79 that are under 5KG and have an Australian Delivery location.

Return & Exchange Policy

If you wish to return a product or an order, please let us know via CONTACT US. Please include the order number if possible and the reason for return. 

 

Products can only be returned if they:

  • are or become faulty through no fault of your own

  • don’t match our description or sample

  • have defects that were not obvious or we did not bring to your attention.

 The goods must be returned within 7 days and you may be asked for proof of purchase. 

Change of mind

Please choose carefully as Australia Vitamin Direct do not refund or exchange if you simply change your mind or make an incorrect choice. Refunds or exchanges will be provided with proof of purchase on any faulty merchandise within a reasonable time frame.

 

Who pays for return shipping?

Once you have contacted us and the return has been approved, we will provide you with easy return instructions.

  • If a product / order has to be returned due to our error, we will cover the cost of return postage.

  • If a product / order has to be returned due to an error on your part, the return shipping will be at the expense of the customer. 

 

Refunds

We can provide you with either:

  • A refund using the same method originally used for payment.

  • Or a credit to be used at australiavitamindirect.com.au with a validity of 3 months 

What if my order was returned as undeliverable or unclaimed?

Occasionally orders are returned to us as incorrect address, failed delivery attempts, refusal to pay tax / unable to make import declarations or parcel refused by recipient. When the delivery agent returns an undeliverable package to us, we issue a refund by deducting the original shipping fee and 15 % of the value of products as handling charges. We can re-ship orders that are returned to us as undeliverable or unclaimed. Customers are responsible for the re-shipping fee. The re-shipping fee is $10 flat.
